My take on the final challenge from CGCookie’s Fundamentals of 3D Mesh Modeling in Blender course.
The main prompt was for creating a low-poly bedroom scene with realistically proportioned objects. And I wanted to create something a bit more fantastical and fictionalized while still keeping the objects mostly grounded in realism. This led me to imagining a bedroom... but inside of a “lantern room” at the top of a lighthouse 😮
(I also leveraged some inspiration from the fact that decking these spaces out for living is actually a real concept.)
Material and texture wasn’t exactly the main focus of the project, but I couldn’t help myself in a few cases from putting a bit more... polish... into the final render ✨
